Not only summery shade: yellow!

Yellow is always trending in the summertime due to the warm tones and luckily judging the fashion runways designers like Jil Sander, Hermès and Alberta Ferretti this year yellow is expanding to the fall -winter 2018.  That’s just great as it adds such an energy to an outfit.  Is a perfect color as well  for transition between seasons too.

This color of sunshine, hope, and happiness is called an attention seeking color, when used in combination with black, is creates one of the easiest color combinations to spot. This is why school buses, taxi cabs, and traffic signs are painted yellow and black. So I would say stay away from this combination. I personally believe yellow looks great with other primary colors for creating a bright outfit,  just go carefully with shades of blue so you do not end up looking like an Ikea advert.

The chicest way is to create the Ton Sur Ton or go monochrome o so so chick  dripping from head to toe in one color. For truly elegant approach the neutrals look good with yellow, as you keep the warmness palette of shades and still get noticed. I guess that is what we want when choosing this color.

Yellow color isn’t the easiest and I often hear that is doesn’t look good on me or  is not that flattering in this case you can choose less highlighter-bright and more golden-meets-mustard  this shade looks attractive on every skin tone. Not convinced yet you can start with some accessories as even little pop of the yellow  warm shades in darker days will lift up your mood.

For me yellow is very much on the top when it comes to color  preference I might normally choose not such a bright yellow but this time I go for it with my pallazo pants. Pallazo pants are long women’s trousers cut with a loose in the summer and with ticker fabrics (wool) in the winter  extremely wide leg that flares out from the waist.

This trousers style is my favorite, it somehow screams old fashion glamour  worn by some women fond of avant-garde fashions in the 1930s and 1940s, beauties who stood out like  Katharine Hepburn, Greta Garbo and Marlene DietrichIn the late 1960s and early 1970s these trousers gained popularity again the boho style was seen on every street..

The Pallazo pants are so flattering on all body shapes you can lengthen with high heels if you are very tall or very petite flat shoes look simply wonderful with it.

Today my look is structured and sleek so I  just complimented with some gold vintage jewelry. When we shooted  in Amsterdam it was  very warm weather when it cools down I will just throw a structured blazer in neutrals over my shoulder, so welcome fall and as I just said not only a summery shade.
